Boost Your Brand, A.C.E.E. Your Marketing

As a small business owner, I know you’re trying to get to that next level. It definitely can be challenging in these trying times. So we put together a little plan that you can Institute today. So, A.C.E.E., let’s talk about that. The brand is what you’re known for, and marketing is what you do to sell it; always keep that in mind when you talk about your brand versus marketing. Making sure that you do apply these principles because it is an excellent formula for you to see an increase in engagement with your customers and increased sales, which is always what we’re going for.

A.C.E.E. It starts with Agile.

Always look to see where you can pivot. If you used to be only a brick and mortar store and now you realize you should be online, How can you get there? Whatever that pivot is in your business, always be mindful of where you can go from here, especially in these uncertain times; always try to use fresh eyes to look at what you were doing, but can you see it differently? Can you connect the dots otherwise? Being agile is crucial for your business and imperative in your process. Don’t be stuck with one and done. You need to be able to move and change with the economy and with the changing times and with technology. That’s the A in A.C.E.E.

A.C.E.E. C for Consistency.

Look for consistency. Don’t commit to doing too much in marketing. At first, if you can only post on Facebook, OK, if that’s where your target audience is, great. Make sure whatever you do as far as your marketing, that you are consistent. Consistency is the key to have your name out there when the customers are ready to buy, and they see your post on social, or your company emails their inbox, they will choose your product or service. Make sure that when you commit to it, it is consistent. Whatever that is. C is a part of A.C.E.E.: Consistency.

A.C.E.E. for Empathy.

Know how to feel where your customers are coming from, what they are going thru, and is your tone sensitive enough for them?  What are your vendors going through? We are all living in this quagmire of the unknown in business. Use a lot of Empathy, be transparent with the changes that are going on in your business. It’s essential to be open with your customers. Let them know that yes, this is an uncertain time, and we are going through some growing pains. It’s hard for me as a business. It’s hard for you as a consumer, that kind of thing. Be transparent in whatever you say is your message and your tone.

A.C.E.E. for Equity.

E is for Equity. Of course, A.C.E.E. has two E’s because I couldn’t pick one that I love the most. But equity is very, very important. Equity is what you build over time, and that’s where you need to start. You need to start today. If you are not actively marketing to your customers currently and are not building a community, then your community won’t be there when things do take a downturn. Customers have to have trust, credibility, and brand equity with you; You know that they can trust your product; they know that you’re credible. Get Started.
